The way you deal with setbacks is the difference between success & failure
No matter where you are on your journey of building a business online, you might have or will experience setbacks.
The difference between succeeding and failing is how you choose to confront those.
The most successful people are the ones who learn from their mistakes and turn their failures into opportunities.
Like in life; you constantly have to make choices when growing your business online.
And face it; you will not always make the right choice.
It's not the end of the world (or your business) if you deal with those wrong choices (or setbacks, I like to call them) the right way.
Not your fault.
Taking a particular choice is your responsibility and only your responsibility. No one else's.
Everyone who is on his journey to build his business will come across difficulties, setbacks and asking him or herself why this happened to you.
A moment of fear creeps up...
Three kinds of reactions
1. Giving up
Giving up and wondering why this has to happen to you, blaming everyone and everything. Find all the reasons why you failed and is was something out of your hands
2. Blaming yourself
Then are those people they blame it on themselves. I did not have the skills; it was too difficult for me. Going on wasn't an option anymore.
They surrendered to defeat, but in a reasonably clean, socially "accepted" way.
3. Learning a lesson
When hit by a setback, knocked down on your knees, bounce back up, learn the lesson, forget the beating and move forward.
Don't let it take something out of you, but something into you.
How will you react?
The difference between success & failure
Study setbacks to pave your way to success. Learn from them and move on.
Be your own constructive critic, find & correct your mistakes and weaknesses. This makes you a professional.
Blaming yourself or "bad luck" got no one where they wanted to go.
Stay with your goal, but try new approaches. Experiment.
Last but not least, every situation has a good side too. Find it.

This is such an important life lesson, whether personal or professional. It is a foundation of the ancient Stoic philosophers and it has been shown to be a key element in resiliency which, in turn, is a key factor in happiness. Thanks for the great reminder.
