We see that the existing platforms and messaging apps like TikTok and the newcomer Clubhouse skyrocketing in growth and use of their platforms, making people spending lesser time on the well-known platforms like Facebook and Twitter and so on.

Facebook supports small businesses with their personal ads

With their new campaign, "Good ideas deserve to be found.they want to help small businesses with their personalized ads.

Well, read "help" as another income stream for them and yes, it will help you too as small business to reach your so much wanted audience.

The Good Ideas Deserve To Be Found campaign includes TV, radio, and digital advertising. Individual businesses will also be able to promote it using a new Instagram sticker and the #DeserveToBeFound hashtag on Facebook.

Twitter super followers and communities

Users will be able to charge their followers for access to additional content, and the ability to create and join groups based around specific interests.

The payment feature, called Super Follows, will allow Twitter users to charge followers to bonus tweets, access to a community group, subscription to a newsletter, or a badge indicating your support.

Twitter sees it as a way to let creators and publishers get paid directly by their fans.

Twitter also announced a new feature called Communities, which appears to be its take on something like Facebook Groups. People can create and join groups around specific interests.

This will allow their users them to see more tweets focused on those topics they are really interested in.

There’s no timeline yet for when either of these features will launch. Twitter listed them as “what’s next” for its platform during a presentation for analysts and investors on the 25th of February 2021.
