There was once a traveler on a dusty road…
At the first turn of the dusty path; he saw a stonemason who was working on an enormous stone … the man wept bitterly.
The traveler asked him: “Why are you crying?” He replied, “Because the people have told me that I must be the most miserable man on earth with a job like this.”
Every day it forces him to work for a small fee that barely brings food on the table.
The traveler gave him some money and went on …
At the next turn, he saw another mason, who was also working with enormous stones, but this man was not crying, and his attention was focused on his work.
The traveler asked the man what he was doing, and the man told him simply: “Working”
Every day he comes to this place to work with these enormous stones.
It’s hard work, but it pleased him, and the money was just enough to feed his family.
The traveler praised the worker and gave him some money and went on ….
At another turn, he saw a stonemason who was unlike the previous ones; happy and cheerful, he even sang a song.
The traveler was surprised and asked him, “What are you doing?”
The stonemason raised his head and said with a cheerful face:
“Do you not see ? I’m building a temple!”
