Why planting trees is essential for your success.

Starting a business online is like planting trees if you want to become successful.

Too often I see people look for shortcuts to success, fall victim to the "get rich quick" schemes.

Certainly if you don’t have money to pay your next month’s rent or electricity bill and in desperate need of earning money quick, the temptation is great to fall for this trap.

Let me explain why you should plant trees instead ...

Planting trees is essential for your success.

One of the richest men on the planet, Warren Buffett for investing, money or even life, the Berkshire Hathaway founder always finds the right words to lend wisdom and inspiration.

This is incredibly relevant to your journey of building an online business in affiliate marketing (or otherwise)...

The website you build now is not successful tomorrow. Rather, it will gain traction and authority through time.

The content you create now doesn't rank right now. It will rank as Google finds it, as they index it, and as you gain authority within Google (as you create more content).

You will need to build a tribe of raving fans you have a sustainable relationship with and that want to buy from you.

Don't compare building a business to hourly income. That is one of the biggest reasons for failure that I see. It will disappoint you at the outset, because your efforts in the early stages of your business do not translate into an hourly income.

Think of it as planting a tree that needs time to grow and flourish. If you approach your online business with this very mindset, you are going to have a much brighter future ahead of you.

The shade is awaiting us all, but it counts on you planting the seed of the tree, nurturing it and giving it enough time to grow.

It takes time and patience to enjoy the fruits of labor. When you plan for the future, good things can happen.

Making a difference...

The ultimate is when you are successful and can help those that are in need.

Apply the 70/30 rule explained by Jim Rohn and you will be a much happier person in life.

As Nelson Henderson said; true meaning of life is to plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit.

Making a difference is leaving a legacy of unselfishness where others will benefit from what you have left behind.

What is your legacy?

All the best,

Luc
